About this idea
Your elf is headlining a rock concert performing Baby Shark! Set up a small 'stage' using a box or book. Position elf with toy guitar or microphone (use a marker). Create a mini audience with stuffed animals sitting in rows. Add paper 'glow sticks' (rolled colored paper) in the audience's hands. Hang string lights or flashlight for stage lighting. Include a setlist sign: 'Tonight: Baby Shark, Cocomelon Hits, Wheels on the Bus'.
What you'll need

How to set it up
- Create a small stage by placing the box or book horizontally on a surface.
- Position the elf on the stage with the toy guitar or marker as a microphone in its hands.
- Arrange stuffed animals in rows in front of the stage as the mini audience.
- Roll up strips of colored paper and place them in the hands of the stuffed animals to look like glow sticks.
- Add string lights or shine a flashlight on the stage to simulate concert lighting, and place a sign nearby that reads: 'Tonight: Baby Shark, Cocomelon Hits, Wheels on the Bus.'
Tips & variations
- Use different colored papers for variety in the audience's 'glow sticks'.
- If you don’t have string lights, a flashlight works great for quick stage lighting.
- Let your preschoolers help arrange the stuffed animals and paper glow sticks for extra fun and involvement.
