Upside Down Tree Decorating

About this idea

The elf hangs upside down from a lamp or curtain rod next to the Christmas tree, holding a strand of popcorn that goes completely the wrong direction - wrapped around table legs, chair rungs, and back up to the tree. On the floor below sits an open box of ornaments with several baubles hanging from the elf's feet instead of the tree branches. A small step stool is tipped over nearby with tinsel draped across it.
